Our Approach

How we work,
and why it's different.

We're not a directory. We're not a marketplace. We're a small editorial team that chooses brands carefully and champions them properly.

One year. One or two brands.

Most platforms maximise reach. We do the opposite. We work with one or two brands per year. Fewer partnerships, deeper stories. It's a choice that costs us volume, but earns us trust.

When we partner with a brand, we don't just place a banner and walk away. We learn the product. We meet the founder. We dig into the ingredient sourcing. And then we tell the story across our journal, our channels, and our home page, for as long as the partnership runs.

How we choose

Every brand that comes our way is held against the same four questions. If the answer to all four is yes, we talk. If even one is no, we politely pass.

The four questions

Four checks.
Every brand. Every time.

01

Genuinely natural

Are the ingredients real and traceable?

We need to know where things come from. "Natural-inspired" doesn't make the cut.

02

Actually works

Does the product do what it claims?

Marketing hype is everywhere. Real benefit is rarer. We test before we tell.

03

Run by people who care

Craft over margin?

We partner with founders who care more about the product than the next quarter's numbers.

04

Would we use it?

The simplest test, and the truest.

Would we recommend it to family? If the answer is anything other than yes, we pass.

What we don't do

The lines
we don't cross.

A slower way to grow a platform. It's also the only way we know how to do it honestly.

  • We don't accept paid placements or banner ads.
  • We don't review brands we haven't partnered with.
  • We don't take on more than two brands a year, however much they offer.
  • We don't write copy we don't believe.
  • We don't sell, share, or rent your data, ever.
